The space is small but they have great service and amazing food. I tried they're tacos de papa and barbacoa. They also have a mini torta option, which is half a toeta ahogada. It's pretty good if you want to order more than one thing but still want to get a torta ahogada :)

Tacos de buche and tostada de ceviche are my favorites. All staff are really nice. Great customer service. Traditional pozole.

Ok I'm not sure why we haven't tried this place sooner. I am super critical when it comes to restaurants, if I'm going to spend money it needs to be delicious, have good service and be a good value. I absolutely loved everything we ordered way above average expectations. Probably one of our new favorites. Service was great. Most importantly the food was excellent and the small attention to the details and extras elevated it above what our average expectations would be. Value was perfect. Went back for our second visit. Service was fabulous. Chips and salsa great. My daughter ordered the el pastor super burrito again and it didnt disappoint. I tried the carnitas and really didn't like it. My advice the birria or el pastor are much much better options.

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. House made chorizo is on point. Didn’t get the kids name but he said he was the owners son he told me about the sopes and chorizo. Will definitely be tipping well next time Only bad thing layout of the restaurant is confusing but with food like that definitely shouldn’t complain.

BoomerNaut here: my review - Ladies & Gentlemen: this little eatery is huge compliment to the Oakley - Grocery Outlet locale. Nidia (Mexican Sandwich shop Owner) so pleasant. Observed strict adherence to social distancing by owner and customers alike. Why we ate here? (1rst) the Torta ahogada with sauce, and carnitas the meat. Recommend!!! (2nd) Tres Tacos Plate with Carnitas. I really dig the potatoes & cheese & jalapeno fill at the bottom of those Yellow hard-crunchy shells! The hot sauce very spicy and, cools quickly leaving a good symphony of fresh flavors! Lastly y'all-they are open! BoomerNaut reviews with ***** 5 stars. Ty, Dan Gerald Google Maps Local Guide EastBay SF California USA
